Module 3: Food Matters
Let's face it, food is a main culprit to the development of Prediabetes and Diabetes. In this module we will learn how the body processes food into glucose. We are also taking a close look at the types of foods that will help reverse or prevent Diabetes. We will discuss food groups, macronutrients, and sneaky sugars. We are also practicing reading food labels to help you make healthy choices.
Outcomes: Understanding of macronutrients and foods that contain hidden sugars. Creation of meal plans. Clarity on reading food labels. Begin replacing unhealthy foods with foods that nourish and reverse Diabetes.
Module 4: The Body Knows
The body is always in the process of repairing and resetting itself. In this module, we look at how exercise, sleep and stress all have a role in kicking Diabetes out of our lives.
Outcomes: Customize a realistic workout plan. Establish sleep and stress response habits that support healthy glucose levels.
Module 5:Mindset
You can have all the tools imaginable to live a healthy life, but without establishing a mindset for success, the tools will go to waste. In this module, we are preparing you to keep the momentum on your health journey.
